So, what are water beads?

Water beads, sometimes called fairy eggs, dragon eggs, polymer balls, water crystals or water balls are made from super water absorbent Sodium Polyacrylate. Unlike many similar products available, our are 100% non-toxic and completely colourfast. Many similar looking products can stain but this won't happen with ours!

How much should I buy?

We sell water beads in convenient sachets which expand in water to around 100 times the original size. Ten grams will make around 1 litre so the best place to start is measure the volume of the container, vase or bowl you're planning to fill.
